Elephant Tree House was founded in March, 2010. We publish poetry chapbooks and full-length collections by contemporary authors whose work we like. We enjoy the process of making books, and work closely with our authors on the editorial and design aspect of their books. The books we make will be published in both paperback and fine press limited editions. We want to stay small, publishing no more than three books per year. We do not read unsolicited manuscripts, but rather choose our list, with the the input of our editorial board, from the recommendations of colleagues and friends.
Before Elephant Tree House was formed, we worked as Meaning and Form Publications and Digital Hand Press, publishing literary and art titles. See the About section for more information.
Elephant Tree House was named for the elegant copper beech that stands in the side yard.
